If you are already part of this great hobby of ours we hope you find it informative and if you are thinking of getting started in the wonderful world of breeding and exhibiting Exhibition Budgerigars visit as many aviaries as you can and pick up ideas from everywhere. We spent many months visiting various studs in the North of England and we were always made welcome and given lots of information and answers to our never ending questions. One of the comments that we regularly get is "Your birds are really bouncy, healthy and noisy". We put this down to good feeding and nutrition and we have tried to answer our feeding regime on 'Our Setup' page.
This year for the first time we showed at the Budgerigar Society show at
Doncaster as Champions and we were very pleased that a breeder light green cock was sixth in a class of 24 and an adult opaline green cock was
awarded Best Opposite Sex in Champion Section.
